SASSY

Despite her name, Sassy is sweet, calm, and affectionate. She’s vocal, often purring or meowing for attention. In foster care, she’s been gentle and patient with a toddler, even during noisy moments. Initially, Sassy had separation anxiety and disliked being alone, but her foster has helped her adjust to staying home alone for a full workday. Her new family should continue this progress.

Sassy enjoys hiding under a blanket or curling up on a cosy lap. She tolerates being handled and picked up, though she might hiss if something bothers her. Since she grooms herself frequently and has furballs, gentle brushing could be beneficial once she trusts her new family.

She has been the only pet in foster care, having one brief encounter with a neighbour’s cat. Sassy would be fine as an only pet but could coexist with calm cats or dogs. Although confident enough to go outside, she doesn’t show any desire. She would thrive in an indoor-only environment or a home with safe outdoor access.
