HECTOR

Hector is described as confident and full of beans. He can often be found chasing fishing rods or generally zooming around to burn off energy. To keep him stimulated, Hector requires some outdoor space - either a cat-proofed garden, catio, or the ability to roam further afield in a quiet location.

Due to his affectionate nature, Hector would like a home where he isn’t left alone for a full day’s work. A family with opposite shifts or working from home would be perfect. He can become a little over affectionate and can give gentle love bites so children aged 6+ would be best. Hector is a big foodie and can sometimes try and steal food. If he’s picked up and taken away from his stolen goods, he may scratch or growl, however, we expect this to improve once in a home with rules and boundaries.

In the cafe Hector lives happily among the other cats but can occasionally swipe at them for no apparent reason. He has no fears and is confident enough to live with cat-savvy dogs. If adopted with other pets, they would need to be respectful of his space and be introduced to him slowly.
