Say hello to Hector, a lively young boy who is as affectionate as he is playful. This handsome lad is a total love bug - he adores people of all ages and happily soaks up attention, head scratches, and fusses whenever it’s on offer. He’s confident, friendly, and never far from the action.
Hector has bags of energy and loves to play, especially with fishing rod toys, and can often be found zooming about in bursts of excitement. He’s also very food motivated – so much so that he’ll sometimes try to sneak snacks, growling if he’s caught out! With gentle guidance and consistency, he’s learning his manners.
Though Hector enjoys other cats’ company, he mostly does his own thing, occasionally giving a cheeky swipe if another cat wanders into his space. He could live with another relaxed feline or as the centre of attention. He’s also confident enough to share a home with a respectful dog.
Because he can give playful “love bites” and may startle small children, Hector would be happiest in a home with older children (6+) who understand his cheeky ways. He is affectionate, curious, and thrives on stimulation, so he needs a home where people are around often - he wouldn’t enjoy being left alone for long hours.
Hector would love access to a safe garden or secure catio, where he can burn off energy, bask in the sun, and indulge his love of the outdoors. With his affectionate, playful nature and endless energy, Hector will bring joy, laughter, and plenty of love to his forever family.
