Chico is a beautiful boy who has truly blossomed in foster. When he first arrived he was shy and unsure, but with patience he’s growing into a playful, affectionate cat. Chico is always first in line for playtime and adores interactive toys, happily joining in with adults and children, although he shows a strong preference to calm children.
He now enjoys fuss and strokes on his terms and will rub around your legs to ask for attention. He gets along wonderfully with other cats and would appreciate a friendly feline companion, especially as he seems happiest following the lead of other cats around him.
Chico would love an indoor-only home with plenty of toys and stimulation to keep him entertained. He may suit calm older children who understand that he sometimes needs his own space, and he would thrive with adopters willing to continue nurturing his growing confidence. Chico has made incredible progress already and is going to make such a rewarding companion.
